Terenzo is a professional triathlete from New Zealand who races primarily in Ironman 70.3 and Ironman long distance, non-drafting events. He is a 5 x World Champion, which includes his title at the 2008 Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

Bozzone was born on the 1st March 1985 in South Africa and moved to New Zealand with his family as a young boy. He has 22 national titles in a variety of disciplines including cross-country running, cycling, swimming and multisport. After finishing school he focused on multisport and won the 2001 & 2002 Junior Men’s Elite Duathlon World Championship and the 2002 & 2003 Junior Men’s Elite Triathlon World Championship.

Terenzo still holds the current course record for the prestigious Wildflower half-Ironman distance Triathlon set in 2006. Throughout Terenzo’s career ,he has won 37 international titles, which includes 23 Ironman 70.3 or half-Ironman distance triathlon titles.

Terenzo is also passionate about helping the youth and inspiring them to be the best they can be in life. He is an ambassador for Life Education and 0800 Whatsup Children’s Helpline, which helps and supports the youth of today,

Bozzone loves a good laugh, surfing, hanging out with friends and family during his down time.

Ultimately Terenzo has his sights set on winning the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Until then Terenzo will be swimming, biking, running, recovering and repeat, and pushing himself to the limit in training and racing to make these goals a reality.
